Glitter Mountain

Glitter Mountain
12"x12"

Each piece of paper is hand sprayed by me, using lace and string to create unique patterns. I then cut up these papers into small triangles. I wanted to create a pile, using the triangles to create dimension and a glittery affect. After adhering the triangles to the bare wood, I used fluorescent orange to create a raining acid mist. The piece is framed in yellow painted lattice and is ready to hang.

Ice cream cone Mountain

CLOUD MOUNTAIN
7"x7" (collage without frame)
8.5"x8.5" (collage with frame)

I wanted to make a magical little island that floats in the sky. I added hot pink crystal mountains and a row of green trees. The mountainous landscape is growing from a batch of different colored clouds beneath it.

ICE CREAM CONE MOUNTAIN

7"x7" (collage without frame)
8.5"x8.5" (with frame)

I wanted to create a magical yummy place, where the trees are green and the clouds are made of strawberry ice cream. This can be seen as an upside down landscape or a colorful ice cream cone.

Big Ol' pile of JUNK!

8"x21.5"

This brightly colored collage is framed in lattice and ready to hang. Rainbow multi-colored paper cut into triangles and arranged into a mountainous pile of junk. Inspired by my own room and my inability to throw anything away. I painted the frame in a luminescent white that has a slight shine.
